GTO Timeline

GTO Timeline from Inspiration to Conception:

1987 - 1989 -  I was doing experimentation with various additives in real world setting with my Father and was guided by my Grandfather Engr. Romeo Diokno Salgado Sr. (former Gen. Works Manager of El Varadero De Manila/ Asias First Shipyard) - done in Cavite City.  Drag Racing test bed in Lagro using a VW Beetle. Experienced the need to change oil every other week due to race requirement. also played with mini HHO cell for the beetle this year.

1990 - 1996 - Explored the limits of all types of leading Additives and oils in the market using the same VW Beetle.

1997 - 1999 -  Met Daniel Dingel, distributed his EMF-2000 for whole Cavite Area, took inspiration from his oil. Explored all the limitations and other uses for Dingels Oil. Raced the same beetle for five years in Slalom Racing.

1999 - 2005 Raced using Dingels Oil in Shell Slalom Grand Prix (1 whole year Racing Season without a change oil)

2004 - 2006 - Met Danny Soriano (Protege' of Dingel), Designed packaging and distributed his NEWOIL additive. Explored the limits and possibilities of NEWOIL.

2006 - 2007 - Brought NEWOIL to Saudi Arabia, experimented further with other Lubricants mixed with the same oil. Re-explored HHO in Riyadh with a 50cc Honda Dio scooter bought from the junkyard, Gathered significant fuel economy and power, decided to continue Tests with NewOil and HHO back in the Philippines.

2007 -  2009 - GTO as a new experimental oil additive was used for the first time with other cars. It was developed with another OTG Guy partner in Cebu and tested in the race track by the Cebu Racing Group W12. And also in Manila using an old Daihatsu Charade equipped with HHO. Independent tests where also done simultaneously in Surigao, Cavite and Laguna. The first Bus was tested in Laguna, a China Made Dong Feng bus with Great Results.  A dedicated test car in Cebu and Manila was also used for further observation. Years of no oil change and exceptional performance and consistency were also observed. Motorbikes for daily and racing use were tested in Davao City as well as with private cars.

2010 - GTO as a trademark was carried and was legally introduced as a Beta product in Cebu and Davao as well as Manila. Off The Grid Technologies Enterprise was born this year. Registered by yours truly, OTG Guys nationwide were also tapped to distribute GTO.  OTGTE India was established under Paulson Lazarus. OTG Bangladesh was already in the making. More dedicated Test Vehicles were added into the stable. GTO proved itself as Champion again in the races, November 2010 in the Motorbike Circuit Race held in SM Ecoland. And again with various Drag racing events in Davao using a Hyundai Tiburon.

2011 - OTGTE nearly became a corporation. OTG ventures with Karis an MLM company for faster distribution to the market. GTO was tested and proven in a Cross Country solo drive in America using an old nearly junked Honda CRX by OTG Guy Jacques. Mike Cerin of 4WDavao becomes National Champion in Off Roading with his GTO treated Off Road Jeep. GTO recieves Certification from DOST for ETV.

2012 - OTGTE establishes more ZERO Carbon emissions accounts. Overflowing testimonies of ZERO Carbon Emissions and Significant Fuel Economy were also gathered. This is also the year when OTG-Karis was born; a multi-level company focused mainly in MLM. GTO proves itself again in the tracks with more Autocross action using an Ex-Taxi Nissan Sentra.   Chris W. Brown was expatriated from the USA to help OTGTE R&D and introduced GTO MAX.  Eric Gancio "YANO" personally endorses GTO.

2013 - OTGTE appoints Mr. Ashif Rifat Joarder as Executive Vice President, he is tasked to focus in targeting Country Distributors worldwide. OTGTE also taps individual business persons to tap corporate markets, OTGTE develops the APMS which is the mother of the GTP (Green Tech Program).  OTGTE establishes a Racing Team and dominating Class B and Class A brackets in the Regional Autocross Competitions .  OTG Guy Jun Aguilar Gets Marikina City GTO Certified.

OTGTE comes up with new ideas for packaging:  Very limited production were made for beta purpose only. A final form won't be ready till 2014.

NASA claims that the government could slow down worldwide global warming by cutting down on soot emissions. Studies by NASA show that cutting down on soot would not only have an immediate cooling effect, but would also put a stop to many of the deaths caused by air pollution. When soot is formed, it typically travels through the air absorbing and releasing solar radiation which in turn begins to warm the atmosphere. Cutting soot emissions would be an immediate help against global warming, as the soot would quickly fall out of the atmosphere and begin to cool it down.

Cutting back on soot emissions would buy us time in our fight against global warming. Soot is caused by the partial burning of fossil fuels, wood and vegetation. Soot is known to contain over forty different cancer causing chemicals, and a complete cut would offer untold health benefits worldwide.

Environmental conservation has always been a topic for lengthy discussions, but up until recent times, global warming and climate changes were vague subjects, with no hard proof. Not surprisingly, the previous lack of attention to these issues have created a very gloomy outlook on our future. So, considering all this, what could be the biggest contributor to climate changes through global warming? Transportation - the man-made iron horses, flying machines and sea monsters, so to speak.

The question we have now is how green is our transportation? The majority of the worlds' vehicles are fueled by oil (petrol, diesel and kerosene). Even if they rely on electricity, the stations used to generate this electricity use fossil fuels for power! Excluding vehicle manufacture, transportation is responsible for 14% of the artificially created greenhouse emissions, mostly carbondioxide.

Automobiles, trains and planes are all responsible for this problem, but cars are the highest impact-makers. They release approximately six times more carbondioxide than a plane and seven times more than sea vessels.

What is Air Pollution?

Air pollution is somewhat difficult to define because many air pollutants, at low concentrations, are essential nutrients for the sustainable development of ecosystems. So, air pollution could be defined as:A state of the atmosphere, which leads to the exposure of human beings and/or ecosystems to such high levels or loads of specific compounds or mixtures thereof, that damage is caused. With very few exceptions, all compounds that are considered air pollutants have both natural as well as human-made origins.

Air pollution is not a new phenomenon; in Medieval times, the burning of coal was forbidden in London while Parliament was in session. Air pollution problems have dramatically increased in intensity as well as scale due to the increase in emissions since the Industrial Revolution.
