Technical Support Tip for the GTO treatment specialist

"Adding GTO will improve the lubricity and therefore, increase the risk of getting those metal particles distributed all over the engine."
This is especially true with companies and people that do not change their oil filter and drive there cars till they drop.

All day everyday and never keep proper maintenance on them. If someone increased driving range then
there maintenance for a vehicle must increase as well. Roughly 95% of companies completely ignore this fact.   The more you use somthing the quicker it breaks down. The proper maintenance must be adhered to in order to prevent this.

Al lot of car companies have higher insurance rates because of this. The ones that do not take care of things and just drive however they see fit. You will also notice this same practice if you were to just jack up
or put it on a lift and look at the lubrication points of the Vehicle. Ball joints etc. Always check and ask people have they kept up with the proper maintenance of the vehicle.  If they say no then this should give you thought to ponder and say "OK" in your brain.  let me check some things out. aka the Proper fluid levels are they being kept or the oil consistency state. The filter has it been changed?, spark plug etc...

Is there oil in the gas or water ?
Is the water contaminated with oil or ?
Does the engine look like it has oil leaks ?
Does the Valve cover look like there is caked on oil ? Oil burnt on engine ?
Has the Customer used any other type of additive for there vehicle ever ?
Have they tried different oil products in the past ?
Are there any other problems with the vehicle besides what your trying to service?

Sometimes by asking simple questions. This can be a helpfull informative tool for anyone.

One time I had encountered a guy when I was changing oil for this particular shop. I changed the oil and ran it for a few minutes and checked again.  He was happy and left. He came back with smoke blowing out the back end with hazard lights flashing. he came in screaming "you owe me a new car!" to the owner. I said "really?" I said "check this out".... Because I remember him previously asking me should he use his oil and I told him "no". I guess he forgot this. I said "ok, lets go to the back and pop the trunk......" He said "why do you want to do that !!!!!" I said "just do it for me please."

He did and there was the 15 bottles of oil, he went down the road and added it himself........ He then changed his story and tried to blame it on me. lol  He said i told him to do that....which was a lie and far from the truth.

There are many stories like this. Please becarefull of unkept and improper maintenance levels of any degree.

This is why you sometimes have to flush first and then add to clean out what was there before. (Specially when or if there are signs of vehicle neglect and abuse.)

Additional Notes:

Most Truck companies recommend conducting a Used Oil Analysis, simply because of the fact that majority will always have still good condition oil even after thousands of miles past their recommended mileage maintenance intervals; GTO merely improves this.

Notes to ponder

NASA claims that the government could slow down worldwide global warming by cutting down on soot emissions. Studies by NASA show that cutting down on soot would not only have an immediate cooling effect, but would also put a stop to many of the deaths caused by air pollution. When soot is formed, it typically travels through the air absorbing and releasing solar radiation which in turn begins to warm the atmosphere. Cutting soot emissions would be an immediate help against global warming, as the soot would quickly fall out of the atmosphere and begin to cool it down.

Cutting back on soot emissions would buy us time in our fight against global warming. Soot is caused by the partial burning of fossil fuels, wood and vegetation. Soot is known to contain over forty different cancer causing chemicals, and a complete cut would offer untold health benefits worldwide.

Environmental conservation has always been a topic for lengthy discussions, but up until recent times, global warming and climate changes were vague subjects, with no hard proof. Not surprisingly, the previous lack of attention to these issues have created a very gloomy outlook on our future. So, considering all this, what could be the biggest contributor to climate changes through global warming? Transportation - the man-made iron horses, flying machines and sea monsters, so to speak.

The question we have now is how green is our transportation? The majority of the worlds' vehicles are fueled by oil (petrol, diesel and kerosene). Even if they rely on electricity, the stations used to generate this electricity use fossil fuels for power! Excluding vehicle manufacture, transportation is responsible for 14% of the artificially created greenhouse emissions, mostly carbondioxide.

Automobiles, trains and planes are all responsible for this problem, but cars are the highest impact-makers. They release approximately six times more carbondioxide than a plane and seven times more than sea vessels.

What is Air Pollution?

Air pollution is somewhat difficult to define because many air pollutants, at low concentrations, are essential nutrients for the sustainable development of ecosystems. So, air pollution could be defined as:A state of the atmosphere, which leads to the exposure of human beings and/or ecosystems to such high levels or loads of specific compounds or mixtures thereof, that damage is caused. With very few exceptions, all compounds that are considered air pollutants have both natural as well as human-made origins.

Air pollution is not a new phenomenon; in Medieval times, the burning of coal was forbidden in London while Parliament was in session. Air pollution problems have dramatically increased in intensity as well as scale due to the increase in emissions since the Industrial Revolution.
