Nakakadismaya kapag nababalitaan nating mas tinatangkilik pa sa ibang bansa ang mga imbensyong Pinoy na dapat sana ay mga kababayan natin ang nakikinabang.
Isang halimbawa na lamang ang organic fertilizer na naimbento ng Pilipinong si Dr. Eliseo Ruiz na mas naging patok sa ibang bansa dahil sa husay nitong magpalago at magpabunga ng halaman at prutas nang higit pa sa doble ng dating ani nito. Ito ay resulta ng kanyang mahigit sa 40-years na research.
Ayon kay Rodolfo De Los Santos, pangulo ng Richfund International Company, hinangaan ng mga agricultural farmer sa ibang bansa ang galing sa pagpapatubo ng halaman ng Plantmate Organic Fertilizer.
Ginagamit na umano ito ngayon sa ekta-ektaryang palayaan at gulayan sa bansang Tsina kaya malaki ang naitutulong nito sa paglaki ng kanilang food production.
Ligtas aniya itong gamitin hindi kagaya ng chemical fertilizer na nakakasira sa kalikasan. Mas mahusay rin daw ito kaysa ordinaryong organic compost dahil mayroon itong sangkap ng 25-living beneficial microbes and enzymes.
Bukod sa palayan at taniman ng gulay, napakahusay rin daw nito sa plantasyon ng saging, pinya, mangga at anumang uri ng prutas. Puwede rin itong pataba ng halaman sa backyard gardening.
Ayon kay Beverly De Los Santos, vice president ng kompanya, nag-i-export pa raw sila nito sa mga bansang China, Australia, New Zealand, Kenya, Malaysia, Indonesia at California-USA.
Maging sa bansang Oman ay nagawa raw nilang makapagtanim ng saging sa disyerto at makapagpabunga ng malalaking buwig matapos lagyan ng naturang organic fertilizer. Amazing!
Mantakin n’yo, nag-aangkat pa tayo ng tone-toneladang bigas galing sa mga bansang tayo lang dati ang nagturo ng tamang pagtatanim ng palay? Pati prutas at gulay ay ini-import na natin ngayon, samantalang tayo pala ang nagsusuplay ng fertilizer para tumaas ang kanilang ani?
Tinatawagan natin ang pansin ng tanggapan ni Agriculture Secretary Proceso Alcala, maaari po ba nating tulungang suportahan ng gobyerno ang nakakabilib na produktong ito at himukin ang sektor ng agrikultura para gamitin ito sa ating mga sakahan?
Palagay ko ay ito ang makapagpapalago ng ating food production at makakapagsalba sa milyun-milyong nagugutom na Pilipino!

Kaugnay pa rin ng pagtangkilik sa sariling atin, dumarami ang suportang nakukuha ng isa pang Filipino invention. Ang green oil additive para makatipid sa gasolina ang mga motorista.
Marami na sa mga car owner, taxi at bus operators ang nakasubok sa imbensyong ito at napahanga sa magandang resulta sa kanilang mga sasakyan.
Sa paggamit nito, malaki ang natitipid sa fuel consumption, nawawala ang usok sa tambutso (smoke emission) at lumalakas ang hatak kahit mga lumang modelo ng sasakyan.
Maaari itong gamitin sa motorsiklo, kotse, taxi, jeep, bus, makina ng bangka at pati na sa mga generators. Puwede sa gasolina, diesel, LPG at iba pang klase ng makina.
Sa kuwento ni Manuel Santiago, matapos daw lagyan ng GTO (green technology oil) ang kanyang diesel-fueled jeep, mas gumaan ang hatak at nawala ang usok nito.
Ang mga sasakyang bumabagsak sa emission test ay nilagyan lang ng green oil, ang resulta napansin agad ang magandang epekto. Makalipas lamang ang ilang minuto’y naipasa na sa smoke emission test dahil halos 80% ng usok ang nawala. Umabot din sa 25% hanggang 30% ang tipid sa fuel consumption.
Sa walang humpay na pagtaas ng presyo ng gasolina ngayon, ito ang solusyon sa pagtitipid. Malaki rin ang mababawas sa polusyon sa ating hangin kung mawawala sa ating mga lansangan ang mga sasakyang smoke belchers.

“Our GTO has two objectives,” said Elso Cabangon, the much-respected president of the College Editors Guild of the Philippines (1969-70), who is one of GTO’s major distributors in the country. “It controls carbon emission from land, sea and air transport vehicles, and it reduces the maintenance costs of your vehicle, because you no longer have to change engine oil and oil filter once you start using GTO. Plus, your engine will work more efficiently upon treatment of our GTO.”
In one emission test last week in Marikina, a passenger jeepney registered 5.26 emission exhaust before the GTO treatment was done and the vehicle’s smoke was virtually all black. After mixing 250 ml of GTO with the engine oil, the reading dropped dramatically to 1.19. Gone was the black smoke.
“The latest good news we got was, our GTO has just passed the rigorous tests from the Department of Science and Technology-Environmental Technology Verification (DOST-ETV),” Cabangon said.
